In the Forests of the Night, a new volume of my favorite YA series, The Goblin Wars by Kersten Hamilton has been chosen as a CRITICS NEW RELEASE PICK for this week by Kirkus Reviews. The first book in the series Tyger, Tyger (Review) is a big favorite of mine.

And Lauren Oliver's Middle Grade book, Liesl and Po with illustrations by Kei Acedera has been chosen as a Notable Release for October in Kirkus!
A wonderfully imaginative, startlingly moving and at times wickedly funny fantasy.Oliver wrote the critically acclaimed and successful Delirium released early this year. I was impressed by Lauren's research on the Portland, Maine area. Everything was spot on. She also penned Before I Fall.
