What if God were a teenage boy?
In the beginning, Bob created the heavens and the earth and the beasts of the field and the creatures of the sea, and twenty-five million other species (including lots of cute girls). But mostly he prefers eating junk food and leaving his dirty clothes in a heap at the side of his bed. Can you imagine? Now don't get all excited that I have converted or anything—especially not to a religion fronted by a teenage boy. But this made me think: Assuming, regardless of personal belief, what if this were true? How would the world be different?
My guess is that we women would all look like the women in super-hero comic books.
WHAT DO YOU THINK? WHAT WOULD IT CHANGE IF THIS WERE TRUE?
By the way:
Apparently, Meg Rosoff is getting a raft-load of you-know-what for this book being "blasphemous"—because she asked a what-if that might challenge individual to look at their beliefs. It was a Christian school, so sure they have the right to offer what works in their belief structure, but what are they afraid of?
