Voila! My husband and I have been reading the Fifty Shades books as we travel. Now, if you're a fan as we have become you will no doubt have noted that Mr. Grey's helicopter, Charlie Tango, is an EC135 or a Eurocopter 135. Well, as we were driving into our [very nice, new, clean and well-appointed] Holiday Inn Express at the Marseilles airport guess what we came across? Yep, the headquarters of Eurocopter and possible birthplace of Charlie Tango. Here it is! Sorry about the picture quality, busy highway, moving car and all that...
As we left Aix-en-Provence the rain stopped and the sun finally came out. Should I feel insulted by the universe?
We drove East from Marseilles through many tunnels, and down roads so steep we weren't sure we could. We ended up in what is no doubt extremely expensive territory, Cassis. Here is the only photo I got and it certainly doesn't do it justice. So, I will be in the air most of Wednesday. See you all soon Stateside! I can't wait to get home!
