Commentary:
Confession time—I don't watch any of these shows, or have seen just a scene or two. I know some of you are total "Game of Thrones" people, but my husband and I didn't get past the beheadings in the first episode. If I did I might have understood the woman with the white-blond hair. I just knew there would be cruelty in it somehow that would make me cringe. And, my husband doesn't do the high fantasy genre at all. I don't like Boardwalk Empire although I think the female character costuming is outstanding.
I am sad to say that the show I stay up all night for, "True Blood," didn't take anything home. I am not even sure that they were nominated; maybe best use of black cherry JelloⓇ which is what I believe they use for the bloody death scenes.
