In this the clip, Claude and his Claude-attach-diminuitive-here sisters tell Sookie and Jason that they are connected and may be able to help them discover who killed their parents. Why the faeries are all dressed like the  chorus from CABARET I don't know.

Ep. 56 Clip - A Glimmer of Hope

In the following clip, the drugged Vampire Authority newly pledged to Lilith are returning to the Vampire Authority Headquarters after having rather a lot of vampire fun at Mardis Gras. They come upon a very nice rehearsal dinner and essentially drain them all. Great night for tripping vampires, not so much for humans. That little party included a visit from Lilith herself.  Godric also appeared to Eric, sobering him up so that he is the only vampire not tripping anymore.

You will see Lilith rise from a pool of blood. But wait. Why does this Mesopotamian goddess have a huge blemish at her hairline?  In fact, why would she have a blemish at all?

I think THIS is the most important clip.  At end of the last episode Tara had put herself in a tanning bed and was screaming in agony.  The question was should Pam save her or (to quote Pam's tweet) Let her fry. On tweeter it was surprisingly split.  Pam's decision is revealed here by who is walking with her.

Confusing Episode Numbers?  HBO numbers its episodes "officially" for the entire series.  So tonight this is the 52nd episode in this series.  Most fans and some reviewers and bloggers write the season and the number of an episode with in the season.  So tonight is Season five Episode four (S5, E4).

A lot of people think that Alan Ball has really jumped the shark on this season.  How about you??
