I have only read one of them: The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. It was excellent.

What does that say about me?
I started to read Moondog by Alexander Yates, but found the first couple pages too jarring.
I also started to read Galore, by Michael Crummy, but after several chapters found it uncompelling.
I have a signed copy of The Art of Fielding. I picked it up for my husband. He hasn't read it because it is not on Kindle.
I guess those would be the two "best" books I read this year. I also enjoyed them. They are high on my list of favorites as well. I don't tend to think in terms of rankings.
