GREECE: formerly the home of logic and rational thought, Greece has devolved while I wasn't looking.
I'm awful at following the news—there's nothing I can do about these problems so keeping up with everything just makes me feel powerless.  With other things, like what caused Whitney Houston's death, it just makes me sad.  So, I don't keep up.

But Greece was the home of the very foundations of how Western culture thinks, what we model after. Now a culture of evading taxes and living off credit has brought them to setting  buildings on fire.  I ought to care but, I look at this and just wonder how the culture that produced Aristotle and Socrates, Pythagoras, etc. has come to this.
