According to a Harper Voyager Press Release, Carol Mendelsohn, who has certainly been incredibly successful as a producer with CSI, is developing the Hollows Series by Kim Harrison into a series for the CW. The CW has ordered a pilot script written by Jordan Hawley who wrote on SMALLVILLE and MOONLIGHT. The CW is no stranger to spooky fantasy stories and also seems open to trying things out. They have has amazing runs with SUPERNATURAL and THE VAMPIRE DIARIES.
In a post last fall Lesley Goldberg of The Hollywood Reporter wrote:
The CW, meanwhile, has given script orders to a pair of fantasy dramas: Unearthly and The Hollows.
Based on the book by Cynthia Hand, Unearthly revolves around a girl who realizes that her destiny is to become an angel. The drama reunites Hellcats executive producer/writer Kevin Murphy with the network. He'll write and executive produce the project alongside Mendelsohn and Weitz.
The Hollows also marks another reunion for the young-skewing network, with Smallville writer Jordan Hawley executive producing and penning the project. Based on the book by Kim Harrison, Hollows would continue the network's relationship with witches -- Kevin Williamson's The Secret Circle was picked up for a full season this month. The urban fantasy world drama revolves around a private investigator/witch who works with local law enforcement agencies to combat threats both mundane and supernatural. Last Fall's news happened to coincide with the release of THE HOLLOWS INSIDER which I looked at yesterday in Fangs, Wands and Fairy Dust. In The Hollywood Reporter on January 25, 2012 Lesley Goldberg and Lacey Rose reported that Mendelsohn has several projects in the works at TNT, FX and the CW through an overall deal at CBS.
I'm hoping to find out what is happening to the series right now, but it is not in the CW's Unscripted line-up for this summer. Who would you cast?

Now, I would dearly love to see this as a TVseries, but I see issues, namely: 1. Jenks and 2. Jenk's mouth may be an issue. In A PERFECT BLOOD, Ceri makes Jenks have less of a potty mouth around her kids but the flying dude thing may be tragically hokey. I will update when ever I get any other news.
